With over 10 times the amount of veterans lost to suicide than to combat operations in the same time period, there has never been a more important time to TAKE A STAND and DO something to support our veterans!! If you or someone you know is suffering from PTSD, we have people that have shared a similar experience and are ready to help.

As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group.  Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in the Persian Gulf, Korea, Kosovo, the war on terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.
 
Pioneer Post 2121 totally supports the Post 2121 Auxiliary, we work together to insure this Post is an organization you will be honored  to be a member and your spouse can be a member of the Auxiliary if they do not meet the requirements of Post membership.

A satirical reflection by Author/Artist Phil Fehrenbacher

Phil enlisted in the Army in 1965 where he served for years in Vietnam.  He became a graphic designer and has worked for the state of Oregon for 26 years.  He retired in 2003 and started the Cartoon "In-Country".  The cartoons reflect his experiences during his tour of duty in South Vietnam.


There is a new cartoon everyday.

Almost forgot.....Wife Linda said: get to it!

Friday's meal is Salisbury Steak, Macaroni and Cheese, sweet corn and rice krispie treats.  Yes, all that for just $9.00.  Serving from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. Special each week is provided by the Auxiliary and VFW. We try to provide interesting meals.  When you have sampled our specials let us know how we are doing!

Sunday is the biggest playoff game of Denver's history for years.  Join us as the game starts at 1:00 PM.  Like last week, it was a noisy bunch of fun, I was even there!
Holly guarantees lots of specials and pot-luck for eats of-course.  Bring something to share!

Queen of Hearts is over $2600. Any one can purchase Queen tickets.  Selling tickets from 5PM to 6:30PM.  VFW and Auxiliary members are encouraged to buy pickles and pull tabs. Still lots of winners to go!

50/50 has been almost $100 in the past weeks.  Worth a $5 ticket purchase???
