With over 10 times the amount of veterans lost to suicide than to combat operations in the same time period, there has never been a more important time to TAKE A STAND and DO something to support our veterans!! If you or someone you know is suffering from PTSD, we have people that have shared a similar experience and are ready to help.

As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group.  Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in the Persian Gulf, Korea, Kosovo, the war on terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.
 
Pioneer Post 2121 totally supports the Post 2121 Auxiliary, we work together to insure this Post is an organization you will be honored  to be a member and your spouse can be a member of the Auxiliary if they do not meet the requirements of Post membership.

IN-COUNTRY

A satirical reflection by Author/Artist Phil Fehrenbacher

Phil enlisted in the Army in 1965 where he served for years in Vietnam.  He became a graphic designer and has worked for the state of Oregon for 26 years.  He retired in 2003 and started the Cartoon "In-Country".  The cartoons reflect his experiences during his tour of duty in South Vietnam.


There is a new cartoon everyday.

Fellow Post Members,
It's 1:15 in the  morning....had a tough day but we will get through it!

Dinner Friday...tonight is Barbecued Ribs, potato salad and baked beans.  Serving from 5:30PM to 7:00PM.  Again all for $9.00.  We hope to continue at this price as long as we have some great donors and volunteers.  We will be serving 24 meals or until the food runs out.  Come late and it will be gone!

Queen of Hearts is over $2,500.  Drawing is at 6:30 PM on Friday's.  We will continue until some Friday when she will be will be drawn!!!!!

50/50 has been $100 or more!!!!!  Pickles and Pull tabs are available for Members and Auxiliary!

Our Thursday's great lunches are being discontinued until further notice!  As Commander, I hate to do this but the lack of attendance by our membership and outside customers has created a weekly loss that the Post cannot sustain.  We will re-evaluate at a later date.  Thanks to our cook Olivia!  We appreciate what she has done!
