High School graduate from Mead High School Mead, Nebraska in 1962
US Navy Boot Camp San Diego, California 1963
US Navy Training School Millington Tennessee, Aviation Electronics Technician 1965. Further training as Anti Submarine Warfare Technician
Sent to San Diego, California where I went aboard the USS Yorktown under the Air Group VS25 as a Sub Hunter specialist.
Two tours,1966 and 1967aboard the USS Yorktown deployed to Viet Nam. Major duty was flight deck trouble shooter fixing aircraft electronics.
After retiring from the Navy in 1967 I received a degree in Marketing/Management from Wayne State College, Wayne, Nebraska in 1970.
Accountant until retiring in 2008.
Member of VFW 2121 since 2008 serving as Post Quartermaster for 15 years until 2023. Senior Vice Commander 2025.
Promoted to Commander in December 2025.
